History
Kyoto University Press was founded in 1989. From the foundation working in close cooperation with Kyoto University, KUP has tried to further the University's objective of advancing research, learning and education by publishing books of academic interest nationally and worldwide, conceived both to satisfy market needs and to embody the highest quality standards.

History
Kansai University Press was established as one of the office work organizations of the educational foundation in June, 1947.
Its establishment is aimed at supporting and helping announcement of results of research and at contributing to promotion of academic research.
Kansai University Press meets 60th anniversary of foundation in 2007.
More than 340 books have been published through the Press so far.
By publishing the results of research which are intellectual products of Kansai University, the Press always wishes to fix intellectual identity of this school.

History
Kyushu University Press was established in 1975 for the purpose of publishing scholarly works of professors and research workers of the Kyushu University and other universities in Kyushu and its vicinities including Okinawa.
