Seitoku University Press was founded in September 2002 in order to further promote our publishing activities and improve its quality in coming years although, even before the start-up of our Press, we had already been publishing books as one of the ways for development of our education and research. Our Press has published books mainly in the area of humanities until now.

History
Reitaku University Press was established in 1999, and succeeded Hiroike Gakuen Publishing Division, which had stayed in business since 1955 and published a long list of books, journals, and pamphlets. Chikuro Hiroike originally founded Hiroike Gakuen as the Institute of Moral Science in Tokyo, 1926, for the development of research into ethics and morality. At present, the Institute of Moralogy (moral science) which succeeds the original one focuses on ethics and morality in the world, both in the present and the past, and produces interdisciplinary studies covering the topics on human beings, society, and nature. Hiroike Gakuen is an educational institution which is composed of nursery school, high school, and university for cultivating moral spirits among ordinary people. Reitaku University Press undertakes a crucial role in the development of both Hiroike Gakuen and Moralogy.

History
SANNO University Press is a publisher whose mother organization is the SANNO Institute of Management. The Source of the SANNO Institute of Management (SANNO) starts from establishing Nihon Noritsu (Japanese Efficiency) School by Yoichi Ueno in 1941. Then, SANNO founded Junior College in 1950, SANNO University (four year system) in 1978 and also opened the graduate school in 1991.
The predecessor of SANNO University Press goes back to 1955 when we started the edit and the publication of ""Efficiency Guide,"" though a formal inauguration of SANNO University Press is 1965. Its title was changed to ""Management Guide""(suspending publication), which was brought out in 1956 as very few monthly synthesis managerial publication for that time. Afterwards, we kept publishing the magazine and started editting and issuing the book that centered on business and management in 1965 based on the these preservation and utilization of these historical and traditional resources. This is our real inauguration.
